We lived in this lake you see, and we had to get up every morning, clean out the lake and walk 20 miles to the mill where we spent all day cutting ourselves in half to be sold as hardwood and then when we came home... Ooohhh… When we came home, our father would beat us with a big stick, course it was a big stick with spikes and broken glass in it! But, you try to tell that to the youth of today, and they won't believe you!
